Artists who influenced Vance Kirkland | American watercolourist, painter and teacher. He attended the Cleveland Institute of Art (1923–8), became director of the Chappell School of Art at the University of Denver (1929–32 and 1946–69) and in 1930 had the first of his many solo exhibitions at the Denver Art Museum.
