Artists who influenced Joseph Knight | Knight was one of the many Victorian landscape painters who were drawn to the dramatic scenery of North Wales. Although he was born in Manchester and lived there until 1871, he spent the decade from 1875 at Llanrwst and Betws-y-Coed. After a few years in London, he returned to Wales, settling in Conway.
