Artists who influenced Xie Zhiliu![]() | Chinese painter. He began to study painting when he was nine years old by copying antique scrolls in his family's collection. Chen Hongshou's bird and flower paintings exerted a strong influence on Xie. He associated with the artists Xu Beihong, Huang Junbi and Zhang Daqian.
